Featuring Gonzalo and many other leaders of the Swiss open movement, DINAcon - the digitally sustainable conference - is coming to Bern in mid-October with a superb program of talks and workshops. I’m looking forward to being involved in the sessions as well as helping with the Hacknights that will wrap up the day.
DINAcon has already been hugely helpful to me personally by giving me a kick in the pants to organise thoughts on my own open source projects and open community plans. It’s reminded me that there are many faces, many challenges to the movement.
If you have ideas of topics, projects, especially challenging bugs you’d like to work on during the hacknights, please get in touch.
I’m also keen to hear all ideas and suggestions about the kinds of themes and questions you have on the wider topic of Open in 2017, and especially on how an initiative like School of Data can play a role in furthering the best kind of openness… that of minds, of course!
