I have known the SDSC and these projects since 2017, and have presented Frictionless Data in a 2019 workshop. Since then, I have used RENKU in various projects and seen it taken up by some of our community. Last year they contributed to the #covid19mon hackathon, and most recently we ran part of the open source Streetwise project on this excellent platform. All in all, the news are welcome, and I trust we can look forward to more experimental statistics designed with open data science platforms!
